Game Production
After modelling all my assets last week, unwrapping and texturing is my main priority this week. I missed Monday's lecture due to being ill so I had to read the game production class online. The lesson told us about use of lighting in a 3d scene. After talking with my group we understand that lighting is a key part of the process of replicated the Kingman pub scene in order to make it realistic.

Bitmap2Material
In visual studies, Mike Kelly showed us a program that allows us to import any image and create a 3D material for Unreal Engine 4.
The program takes the details of the image you import and amplifies them to form Normal maps, Ambient Occlusion maps etc.
Using this tool is great as it makes creating material maps for UE4 so much easier. This is how I have developed my own normal maps from a jpeg image as shown above.
